As King Bryant mounted his horse, he noticed the silence

Ashes Burn 4: Fire at Dawn, Episode 21
Episode 21: The Answer*
"The fire. I couldn't stop it. And, they died."
William felt fire come up his throat, but it wasn't flames. Burning tears dripped to the sand and sizzled.
*With this episode, I've changed the order of the characters' point of view episodes. In past seasons, Wend (William) had episodes 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19, 22, 25, and 28. In this season, his viewpoint episodes switched here to: 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 21, 24, 27, 30. Later seasons will continue to reflect this "mid-point" switch in the whole mini-saga of events. This reflects his "mirror moment" when he finally accepts his past as a part of his future.
